44/40 Wind Turbine
The Enertech 44 is specifically designed to supplement electric power generation for large buildings, industry, commercial operations, large farms, communities and remote locations. The 44 is an ideal investment to combat rising utility rates by enabling owners to secure their costs for electrical energy now against much higher future costs. The 44/40 has a thirty year design life and is very easy to operate and maintain. Our team of dedicated and experienced engineers is committed to make the 44/40 even more efficient, reliable and affordable. The 44 wind turbine consists of a 15m (44 ft) rotor that produces 40kW (60hz). This simple, reliable turbine is the evolution of a design that has been in use for over 25 years. The Enertech 44 produces energy at competitive rates for distributed generation, village electrification, diesel-based utilities and purchased power displacement for agriculture, industry and municipalities. The 44 is a downwind turbine, where its blades act as a tail and yaw downwind of the tower. Furthermore, the blades use stall to limit the output in high winds. In winds outside of the required wind band, the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) disconnects the wind turbine from the grid and parks it; the wind turbine is brought to a complete stop. The end result is automatic, safe operation in any storm. REcycle Series™
The 44 series turbines have:
Available in both single and three phase outputs, and in a variety of tower types and options. |
